Cristina Cochior

Bio

Cristina Cochior is a researcher and designer with an interest in automation, situated software and peer to peer knowledge production. Her work largely revolves around knowledge organisation systems and collective digital infrastructures. Recent projects she’s been a part of include Vernacular Language Processing, Digital Solidarity Networks, Digital Discomfort, and Bots as Digital Infrapuncture. She is part of Varia, a space for developing collective approaches to everyday technology. Varia members maintain and facilitate a collective infrastructure from which they generate questions, opinions, modifications, help, and action. They work with free software, organise events, and collaborate in different constellations.
